The Golden Chain of the Naqshbandi Tariqah
BismiLlahi-r-Rahmâni-r-Rahîm
The Tariqa Siddiqiyya Naqshbandiyya draws its initiatory chain, the golden chain - Silsila -, linking it to the Prophet Muhammad (saw), from As-Siddîq (the Truthful). The Prophet Muhammad (saw) said about him that he came from the same Primordial Light as he did (min nûr wâhid).
According to the Naqshbandi Sufi masters, this spiritual heritage was transmitted from heart to heart while they were both "hidden" in the mountain. In that cave, the Qur'an says (Sura 9 verse 40), the Sakîna descended upon them. The initiation (bay'a) is done by reciting 3 times : Allahu Allahu Allahu Haqq (God is the Ultimate Truth)
The spiritual influence (Madad) has been conveyed since then by 40 masters including Sheikh Nazim al-haqqani (the pole) who transmitted his influence in each country to a representative according to the "Adab", the spiritual hierarchy that must act like a river that nourishes the earth and fills the hearts with light and peace
Like every river that must adapt to the landscape it crosses, Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani ar-Rabbani, names the chain ar-Rabbaniyya (lordly), thus awakening this consciousness of the divine in the human, to the Oneness, to the Tawhid.
Before his return to his Lord, Sheikh Nazim implicitly declared that the keys of the Tariqa were given back to Amir al Mou'minin Sayyidina ALI: The Light ended at the Original point where EVERYTHING began.
Ijaza granted by Shaykh Nazim to Shaykh Amanoullah
Translation :
"I authorize the very spiritual brother [Sâlih] Amânullah de Vos the Frenchman, to transmit the initiation of the very high Naqchabandi brotherhood, in the same way that I myself was authorized by my master Sidi Sheikh' Abdallah ad-Daghastânî, may God eternally raise his spiritual degree and make us benefit from his spiritual influence and his breaths of sanctity.
I authorize him to give spiritual initiation and to teach the noble rites specific to this path (awrâd), to recite the invocations of the masters of wisdom (khatm khawajagan), to practice spiritual companionship and counseling.
God is the One who gives appropriate and providential graces on the right path and from Him comes help and guidance
May His will be done and may that which He does not wish do not happen.
The servant of this most distinguished sufi way,

An experience of Shaykh Amanoullah
Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: "Whoever sees me in a dream has really seen me, for the devil cannot take my appearance" (quoted by Bukhari).
« An experience shared with Mawlana Sheikh Nazim that it is time to make public ; in an authentic vision confirmed by Sheikh Nazim, our beloved Prophet Muhammad, Rasul Allah alayhi wa Ala alihi calât wa salam, came to me introducing himself: "I am Ahmed Rasûl Allah". He ordered me to sit around a plate with him and he took a bite from his blessed fingers to put it in my mouth, he continued like this but before each bite I kissed his blessed hand, at a certain moment, curiously, he also offered a bite to a person near me and who, to my great amazement, refused so he continued to feed me with his blessed hand. The next day, as I was in Cyprus for this time of mawlid (Birthday of the Prophet), I told my vision to Mawlana Sheikh Nazim who said to me verbatim : "From now on, you are free from me because I have led you directly to Rasul Allah (calât wa salam alyhi wa 'ala alihi), and on the other hand your intuitions are right and well inspired." Now that year was the year when Mawlana Sheikh Nazim's birthday coincided with the day of Mawlid, it was three days after my vision. On that Mawlid day in the morning, sweets were laid out in the courtyard of the mosque and lo and behold, at about 10 or 11 o'clock in the morning, Mawlana Sheikh Nazim came out of the small door of his house into the courtyard and saw the sweets, took some of it and offered it to someone who, to my surprise, refused. I then looked at Mawlana and opened my mouth, he immediately put this sweet piece in my mouth and instantaneously we shared the immense emotion of the secret discussed a few days before. Immediately after that, without saying anything, he went home with that emotion on his face that only the two of us knew the secret of. »
